This week we will revisit this super-gentle but effective spinal exercise series. This series truly represents the heart and soul of “Yoga for All Bodies.”
Working with and maintaining your spine health is very important, especially as you age. We are always “working” our spine even when we are sitting or standng still. Since it is so central to our movement and posture, we also tend to hold much stress in our spine at all times. That is why it “snaps” all of a sudden, and it keeps us away from carrying on with our daily lives with happiness and joy.
The series of exercises (gentle and easy movements) that we are going to do in this week’s session is for you to learn and to practice daily. Doing this series, you will realize how “tight” you become, even with daily, non-strenuous activities. Through this series of exercises, we will train our spine to be flexible so we can meet various challenges that we face from day to day.
People of all ages, body types, and physical strengths/abilities are invited to attend. The class is free with a suggested donation of $10 to 15 (which we desperately need to rent the space for our class).
