We are now offering a live/work option at DragonflyHill Desert Farm and Wildlife Habitat.

Activities Include:
Unskilled (ready to learn, mostly hauling, clearing, digging)

Skilled: Must be experienced:
We may be able to teach you some of these, depending on scheduling.
Farming: irrigation, planting, composting
Painting
Cleaning
Carpentry
Electrical
Plumbing
Fence bullding
Stucco
All construction trades
Sewing: mending, quilting
Soap making
Art work (Artist exchange: installation, murals, etc in exchange for housing.)
Work Exchange for Campsites:
Guests who have their own tent, camper or van can exchange a campsite for work. Ten hours of work= a 7 night stay or 2 hours a day for groups of 1-2 people. 1 additional hour per day for each additional person. NO CHILD LABOR!
All camping guests must register via hipcamp, as campers for the first week. During that time we’ll work out the details of the work exchange and determine if it’s a fit. We always have participation openings, but have dates blocked off on hipcamp, pending approval. You must make inquiries to us prior to registering for participation.

Worrkcamp rate for stays of 28 days or more:
$5 a night plus hipcamp fees + 10 hours of work a week + $300 security deposit. references and background check.

$400 a month + 10 hours of work a week +1 chore + 3 advanced months’ rent + $800 security
This is an exchange of work for lodging. Currently no meals are provided.
There is an application process, including a background check. Please contact us for the application. No last minute reservations. Allow time for the application process (approximately 1 week)
